The History

The Palace Saloon has been pouring drinks since 1884, making it Arizona's oldest bar. It survived the Great Fire of 1900 (the famous bar itself was reportedly carried across the street to safety), prohibition, and every economic cycle Prescott has weathered since.

The Palace is not a museum. It is a working saloon that has never stopped operating, and its history is written into every inch of the building.

The Haunting

Staff report that 'something happens every day.' The Madame Annie mannequin, a fixture near the entrance, has been seen moving its head.

Beer bottles and ketchup bottles have launched off shelves with no explanation. The activity is not subtle and not infrequent. The Palace's ghosts are, by all accounts, as stubborn as the saloon itself.
