Granite Street Parking Garage
What Stood Here Before the Concrete
Book the TourThe History
Before the parking garage, this block was part of Prescott's red-light district. Bordellos operated openly. Chinese immigrants built a community here, complete with underground spaces that most of Prescott preferred to ignore.
A 2002 archaeological survey uncovered remnants of opium dens beneath the site, confirming what locals had whispered about for decades. The concrete above covers more than dirt.
The Haunting
Disembodied footsteps are reported in the garage, particularly on the lower levels. Whistling with no identifiable source.
Shadow figures that move between parked cars and vanish when approached. Guides and guests have documented these consistently across multiple tours.
This is stop 03 of 14 on the Downtown Prescott Haunted History Tour.
